Job summary

Houston Medical Center – AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts at AMG Specialty Hospital in Houston. You will provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting, with collaboration among doctors and staff.

Qualified candidates hold Texas RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, ICU/critical care experience preferred, and strong English communication and computer skills. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Registered Nurse Licensure.
• ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
• Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. ICU/critical care experience is a plus.
