Job summary

Kindred Hospital Albuquerque seeks a dedicated RN to provide high-quality care for critically ill patients in a long-term acute care setting. You will perform the nursing process, advocate for patients, supervise care by the team, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include planning and executing nursing care plans, administering medications, documenting in the EMR, and participating in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Active RN license required; ACLS and BCLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care to critically ill patients through the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Supervises nursing care provided to each patient by other caregivers; coordinates with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Develops and updates the nursing care plan; ensures plan is discussed and developed with patient/family and team.
• Maintains patient records, administers medications safely, and responds to patient condition changes and emergencies.
• Participates in discharge planning and provides patient education.
