Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Fort Collins, CO, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized care using the nursing process across resident care. You will collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care, ensuring standards are met.

The role may include duties as charge nurse and delegation to licensed and unlicensed staff, with focus on safe, reliable resident care and adherence to nursing practice standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
