Job summary

Providence Health and Services Garden Grove, CA is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor for Labor and Delivery to oversee a 12-hour night shift and rotate weekends/holidays. The unit features 17 beds with on-site OB services and delivers ~185 babies monthly, supporting magnet-designated care and a strong nurse-led culture.

The supervisor coordinates patient care activities and assumes nursing unit administration in the nurse manager's absence, contributing to quality outcomes and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• California Registered Nurse License.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years' experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Completed Providence in-house nursing training or 1 year experience in Labor and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the Patient Care Unit to facilitate quality patient care.
• Assume responsibility for the administration of the nursing unit in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
