Job summary

Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA seeks an RN Nursing Supervisor for Labor and Delivery. This full-time night-shift role oversees the unit, coordinates patient care, and supports the Nurse Manager. The unit features 17 beds and 24-hour OB services, with 185 babies delivered monthly.

Required: BSN, CA RN license, BLS, 3 years L&D experience. Preferred: in-house Providence training, RN supervisor experience, and obstetric certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• California RN license required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire; NRP preferred.
• 3 years' Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Providence in-house nursing training or 1 year L&D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of the Patient Care Unit to facilitate quality patient care.
• Administer nursing unit as delegated by or in absence of Nurse Manager.
• Provide leadership and supervision for the Labor and Delivery team.
