Job summary

Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA, seeks an RN Nursing Supervisor for Labor and Delivery to oversee the Patient Care Unit during 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

The role includes coordinating nursing activities, ensuring high-quality patient care, and reporting to the Nurse Manager. The unit has 17 beds with on-site OB anesthesia, triage, ORs, and high-risk antepartum care, delivering ~185 babies per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• California RN license at hire.
• National Provider BLS required.
• 3 years' experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Providence in-house nursing training or 1 year L&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the Patient Care Unit to ensure quality patient care.
• Assume responsibility for administration of the nursing unit as delegated by the Nurse Manager.
