Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a Clinical Nurse II to lead a Care Delivery Team and direct care for a defined patient group. The CN II demonstrates clinical leadership, coordinates nursing care, and precepts new staff as part of the Mercy Clinical Ladder.

This is a full-time, union-position with scheduled 36 hours per week (7p-7:30a) and alternating weekends/holidays. The role requires an Ohio RN license, ACLS, Fire Safety and CPR recertification, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Ohio RN licensure.
• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Complete general and unit-specific orientation and hospital probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing care for a specific patient group as part of the Care Delivery Team.
• Demonstrate nursing leadership and clinical competency.
• Precept new employees as assigned and coordinate care across the team.
