Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team in Springfield, IL. You will provide hands-on acute patient care at the bedside in Labor and Delivery, coordinating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to promote patient health and safety.

The ideal candidate will be a patient-focused, mission-driven caregiver with RN licensure in the state of practice; a BSN is preferred and BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Promote patient's independence by teaching patients and families.
• Adhere to nursing standards and regulations.
