Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) seeks a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Multispecialty Care team in Springfield, IL. This night shift (7pm-7am), 36 hrs/wk, at St John’s Hospital, offers hands-on bedside nursing and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates are mission-driven and patient-focused, with RN licensure, BLS, and a nursing degree. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
• Coordinate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families about condition, medications and self-care.
• Promote compassionate, patient-centered care and independence.
