Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Multispecialty Care team at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused and mission-driven, applying clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands-on acute bedside nursing care.

Position includes Nights, 36 hrs/week (7pm–7am), with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000. Licensure as RN in state of practice required; BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required; multi-state license per NLC may apply.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required based on patient population.
• CCRN and CEN are preferred for certain populations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
• Work in the Emergency core function within the hospital.
• Provide nursing care during night schedule (36 hrs/wk, 7pm–7am).

Education
