Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Multispecialty Care team in Springfield, IL. The role focuses on bedside care in Labor and Delivery, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and educating patients and families.

Ideal candidates bring RN licensure, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), and BLS certification. Nights, 36 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing required for licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on acute patient care at the bedside in Labor and Delivery.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality care.
• Teach patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Adhere to nursing standards and participate in ongoing quality improvement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Graduate from an accredited nursing program

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
