Job summary

Frederick Health in Frederick, MD invites experienced RNs to join Labor & Delivery on full-time night shifts (three 12-hour shifts). A sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 is available for qualifying full-time night positions. The unit offers modern rooms and family-centered care to support new families.

Responsibilities include nursing assessment, planning and collaboration with the care team, while meeting regulatory standards and hospital policies. Night rotation and on-call requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred or obtainable within 5 years.
• Minimum 1 year Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• NRP and CPR/BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess biophysical, psychosocial and discharge planning needs per nursing standards.
• Develop and implement an individualized plan of care for assigned patients.
• Communicate changes in patient status and coordinate with the care team.
