Job summary

Mercy is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses for the Labor & Delivery unit on the night shift. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, perform assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or a Compact License.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification per American Heart Association, may be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Night shift experience or willingness to work nights is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients across all ages.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance with standards.
• Promote patient safety and positive outcomes.
