Zusammenfassung

Frederick Health is seeking experienced nurses for 7p-7:30a shifts on a Med/Surg unit serving adult/geriatric patients. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, coordinating care plans, and teaching patients and families.

Sign-on bonus may apply for night shifts. Position requires RN licensure in Maryland (or a compact state), an associates degree in nursing, CPR/BLS certification, and willingness to participate in rotation of weekends/holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Must be licensed RN in Maryland or compact state.
• Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred or within 5 years.
• CPR certification; BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Federal/state licensing requirements must be met.

Aufgaben

• Assesses the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning of patients according to nursing standards.
• Provides initial assessment and reassessments according to organizational standards and documents accordingly.
• Communicates with patient/family and health care team about status and plan of care.
• Implements and documents nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Promotes discharge planning and patient education throughout care.
