RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, NJ. This full-time night role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

You will perform assessments, administer care, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective labor and delivery services in a state-of-the-art environment, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate RN with NJ endorsement.
• BLS certification required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC) recommended.
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify clinical changes early.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on patient care with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and promote smooth transitions of care.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and pursue professional growth.
