Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on the Night shift. This on-site role provides direct, compassionate care to birthing patients and newborns during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Florida RN license (BSN preferred), with strong fetal monitoring, emergency response, and family education skills. BLS/ACLS required; NRP preferred. Night shifts and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required or ability to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Administer medications and treatments and interpret fetal monitoring.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and care teams; participate in rounds.
• Provide education and emotional support to families.
