Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an RN for perinatal nursing in Orange City, Florida, during night PRN shifts. The role requires strong assessment, care planning, and patient advocacy, with emphasis on teamwork and safety in a faith-based health system.

Eligible candidates will have an RN license, an Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), and BLS/ACLS certifications. Experience in obstetrical/perinatal nursing is preferred; NRP preferred. Pay range listed applies to this position.

• Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows-based programs.
• Prior hospital/Perinatal nursing experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough assessments of patients and develops individualized care plans.
• Implements interventions from the plan of care safely and documents actions.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures and care plans.
• Maintains effective handoff communication and follows safety protocols.
