Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery unit on a full-time night shift. The comprehensive medical center has served Lake County for over 75 years with a focus on compassionate, expert care.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved school of nursing, active Florida RN license or NLC, and current BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain areas. 1 year RN experience, with 1–3 years in L&D preferred, is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current licensure as an RN in Florida or via NLC.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC may be required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgment to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Monitors and interprets patient data and responds to changing conditions.
• Documents care in the patient record per regulatory standards and hospital policy.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan and manage patient care.
• Assists in teaching and mentoring staff and students as needed.
