Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift to provide comprehensive nursing care in an acute hospital setting.

The role requires an active Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. Strong English communication, teamwork, and basic computer skills are essential. A two-tier education track includes an Associate degree as required and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current Florida RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; regularly evaluate and revise as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
