Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is seeking a registered nurse for PRN night shifts. You will perform comprehensive assessments, design and revise care plans, administer medications safely, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, 1+ year in acute care, and fluent English. This role requires strong organizational skills and teamwork within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN license required

• 1+ acute care hospital setting preferred
• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care and communication.
