Job summary
Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL seeks a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and postpartum to join the ISCU Resource Team on the night shift. Location includes Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals, with night hours 2300-0730 and 1900-0730 and weekend/holiday requirements per level agreement.
The role requires IL RN license, NLN-accredited nursing education, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and at least two years in acute care L&D/ISCU.
Qualifications
- Current IL RN license required.
- Graduate of NLN-accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP Certification for Healthcare Provider required.
- Minimum two years of acute care experience in Labor and Delivery and/or ISCU.
Responsibilities
- Independently provide safe, effective nursing care for labor, delivery and postpartum patients.
- Utilize nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Supervise and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in care delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
- Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.
