Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery night shift. This full-time role involves 36 hours weekly with 2300-0730 and 1900-0730 schedules and weekend rotation. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requires IL nursing license, NLN-accredited program, and BLS/CPR certification. Prior L&D or acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL required.
• BSN strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care with interventions to achieve outcomes and revises as needed.
• Performs patient assessment and collects health data from patient, family, and other providers.
• Communicates plan of care to patient and family, and to the physician and interdisciplinary team; documents data and communications.
• Provides patient education tailored to learning needs and cultural background; discusses disease management and emergency care.
• Supports professional development of peers and contributes to a learning environment.
