Beacon Health System is hiring a full-time, night-shift Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Center at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, IN. The role supports professional nursing services with a focus on high-acuity care during the night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week).

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, collaboration with the clinical team, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• ASN is required for this RN position.
• Current Indiana RN license is required.
• BSN within five years of employment or obtain certification in area of specialty.
• If BSN is not completed within five years, credentialing options will be discussed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ needs and initiate individualized plans of care.
• Provide professional nursing services and clinical care in the Intermediate Care Center.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure quality outcomes.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and timely.
• Maintain accountability for actions and comply with guidelines and standards.
• Delegate to appropriate staff while considering acuity and resources.
• Support continuity of safe care across the continuum and adapt plans as needed.
