Beacon Health System is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Flexible Acuity Unit at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, Indiana. The role offers 36 hours per week on day shift (7a–7:30p) within a 0.9 FTE schedule.

Responsibilities include professional nursing care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust plans of care while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Indiana.
• Candidates hired after Jan 1, 2014 must have or obtain a BSN within five years or obtain specialty certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services in the Flexible Acuity Unit.
• Assess patient needs and implement plans of care; document outcomes.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Establish priorities and advocate for patients and families.
• Maintain accountability and adhere to standards, protocols, and patient safety.
