Job summary

TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care and support to patients and their families, and participate in decisions that affect peers and the community.

The RN candidate will hold a Massachusetts nursing license with CPR certification; BSN is preferred. This position features 32-hour night shifts with weekend/holiday rotation and a strong clinical focus on behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts (active).
• BSN preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders.
• Understanding of Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Experience in psychiatric or substance use inpatient settings; crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients, families, and guardians as part of the care team.
• Assess patients' physical and psychological condition throughout care.
• Apply nursing process consistent with TaraVista's philosophy and mission.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in TaraVista's core values.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and document care plans.
