Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department at Oro Valley Hospital in Marana, AZ. This full-time night shift position delivers patient-centered care within a high-acuity environment, coordinating care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of RN Emergency Department experience required
• Current RN license in good standing and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using nursing process
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop care plans
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions (CPR, code team)
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care
• Document thoroughly in medical records and ensure infection control standards
