Community Health Systems is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg unit at Oro Valley Hospital. This full-time night shift role focuses on patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure in state of practice

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and nursing process.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration as required.
• Collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities as appropriate.
• Documents patient care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
