Job summary

Oro Valley Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Lead for the Marana Free-Standing Emergency Department, night shift. You will oversee ED nursing operations, coordinate care with the healthcare team, and drive quality and safety in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of RN Emergency Department experience required.
• RN licensure required (State Licensure and/or Compact).
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing and support staff and delegate tasks.
• Evaluate staff performance with feedback and coaching.
• Oversee patient care planning and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Coordinate patient care with interprofessional teams.
• Maintain effective communication among physicians, patients, families and departments.
• Monitor patient flow and bed assignments to optimize resources.
• Lead shift handoffs and unit huddles.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
• Ensure supplies are available and resources are used cost-effectively.
• Facilitate ongoing staff education and professional development.
• Respond to emergencies with leadership and direct care as needed.
