Advocate Health seeks an RN for the Nursing Float Pool at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center. This full-time night shift (7p-7a) local resource team position supports FBH, inpatient rehab, and FSED across the main campus.

The role emphasizes evidence-based care, safety culture, patient-centered communication, EHR documentation, and adherence to nursing standards, with potential unit float as needed. Requires BLS, RN license, and typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Maintain professional development and complete required education and certifications.
