Job summary

Advocate Health's Nursing Float Pool at High Point Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care across units during night shifts. The role emphasizes safe patient care, adherence to standards, and strong clinical decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program, NC RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and 2+ years of RN experience preferred. This position supports a 36-hour weekly schedule and full-time status.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state of North Carolina.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
NIHSS required.
2 years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
