Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a part-time RN for our Nursing Float Pool. You will float to all departments within the main campus and sister facilities, with assignments based on your experience, skills, and credentials to ensure high-quality care.

Completion of an accredited nursing program and an active RN license are required, along with BLS & ACLS. Two years of bedside hospital experience is preferred for this dynamic, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Two years of hospital bedside care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards, policies and procedures.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
