Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for our Nursing Float Pool. The 36-hour week shifts from 6p to 6a, with pay range $20.80–$31.20 per hour, supporting adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean environment, assisting with daily living activities, and collaborating with the medical staff to enhance patient comfort and outcomes. CNA certification and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completed CNA training program or equivalent.
• One year of experience preferred; BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a clean, safe environment for patient comfort.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver patient-centered care across units.
• Support family-centered care under supervision and cross-training.
