Job summary

Mid Coast Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 for a full-time 36-hour evening shift in the Emergency Department. The unit operates 24/7 with a focus on rapid assessment and management of critical illnesses, and this role emphasizes collaboration and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current RN license; BLS required; ACLS/PALS within 1 year; NRP for OB/NICU within 1 year.
• Experience: One year of recent RN experience preferred.
• Additional KSAs: Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for laboring patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Collaborate, delegate, and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
