Job summary

Pen Bay Hospital, part of MaineHealth, seeks a Temporary 13-week Full-time Registered Nurse for night shifts (36 hours/week). The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, coordinate with the care team, and ensure high-quality outcomes for Labor/Delivery and general units as assigned.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduation, RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within deadlines. One year of RN experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as specified.
• One year RN experience preferred; fetal monitoring competency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care and communication.
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions during night shift.
