Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for an Emergency Department position in Maine. The facility runs a 23-bed ED with patient ratios of 4 to 6 and night hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Travel assignments may require 3x12hr shifts and are typically 14 weeks long.

Applicants must hold an active RN license (Maine or Compact) and current BLS/ACLS/PALS, plus NIHSS and CPI/MOAB credentials before start. A driver’s license and two references are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB (CPI/MOAB required prior to start).
• 4-5 years of ED nursing experience required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Driver's License required for consideration.
• 2 professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Provide night shift ED nursing care in a 23-bed Emergency Department.
• Maintain patient ratios of 4 to 6 and ensure safety standards.
