MelroseWakefield Hospital in the greater Boston area is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7 pm–7 am) on the Community RN Career Direct Care Pathway. The role requires valid Massachusetts RN licensure and current BLS certification.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, mentor staff, and participate in performance improvement initiatives as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Department specific certifications may be required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Experience level varies by level I-IV on the Nurse Career Pathway.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Conscientiously evaluates and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical practice.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the patient's plan of care.
• Uses professional nursing judgment to tailor the plan of care to patient needs.
• Mentors new staff and precepts department staff.
