Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a registered nurse for night shift (7 PM–7 AM) on a 40-hour schedule. This non-exempt role offers a competitive hourly rate and a potential signing bonus; final offers are based on scheduled hours and internal equity considerations.

The RN will apply the nursing process, conduct assessments, develop care plans, coordinate discharge planning, and supervise nursing care in a dynamic patient-care setting. Massachusetts licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement; ACLS current if not.
• BSN highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
