Job summary

MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Complex Care on a night shift, part-time schedule (24 hours/week, 7p–7a) with every third weekend. The role involves professional nursing care, assessing and planning patient care per physician orders, and guiding discharge planning in a complex care setting.

Minimum qualifications include Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required depending on the unit and patient care.
• Minimum RN experience varies by level (I–IV).

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Conscientiously evaluates and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Conducts accurate clinical assessments and documents findings.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the patient's individualized plan of care.
• Uses nursing judgment to tailor the plan based on patient needs.
• Manages own patient assignment and supports discharge planning.
