Qualifications

• Current, valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• One year of medical/surgical hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Direct care and supervision of nursing staff and other personnel.
• Coordinate nursing unit activities related to patient care, with patient/family education as needed.
• Provide leadership and clinical guidance to the nursing staff and participate in interdisciplinary reviews for care planning.
