Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license to practice in the state of employment.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor is required.
• ACLS certification from an approved vendor is required within six (6) months of hire.
• One (1) year of medical/surgical hospital experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Provide leadership and clinical guidance to nursing staff and ancillary personnel.
• Ensure care meets hospital and professional standards and act as patient advocate during the shift.
