Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is seeking an RN Charge Nurse for the night shift. The Clinical Supervisor oversees clinical supervision and hospital operations during the assigned shift, coordinates nursing care, and ensures adherence to standards through educated and competent staff.

Responsibilities include leading nursing staff, delegating care, coordinating patient care, educating patients and families, and participating in interdisciplinary review to inform the care and education plan.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in state of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• One year of medical/surgical hospital experience required.
• Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image and knowledge of regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of nursing care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Provide direct care and delegation/supervision of all nursing care per Nurse Practice Act.
• Coordinate nursing unit activities related to patient care.
• Participate in patient and family education as needed.
• Provide leadership and clinical guidance to nursing staff and ancillary personnel.
• Participate in interdisciplinary review to inform plan of care and education.
