Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment.

• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• Minimum one year of medical/surgical hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Provide direct care and supervise all nursing care per Nurse Practice Act.
• Coordinate nursing unit activities related to patient care.
• Participate in patient and family education as needed.
• Provide leadership and clinical guidance by supporting nursing staff and ancillary personnel.
• Participate in interdisciplinary review to inform care and education plans.
