Job summary

The position requires a current, valid RN license in Texas, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within six months of hire, with at least one year of medical/surgical hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Provide direct care and supervise all nursing care per Nurse Practice Act.
• Lead and support nursing staff and ancillary personnel on the unit.
• Participate in interdisciplinary review and integrate information into the plan of care.
