Job summary

Rolling Hills Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN to join our behavioral health team. The RN will provide direct patient care per the treatment plan, manage assessments, and support crisis and safety initiatives.

The role requires Tennessee RN licensure, with nursing experience in behavioral health and inpatient psychiatry preferred. Night shifts available with shift differential rewards and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee required
• Nursing experience in the behavioral health field preferred
• One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred
• CPR certification (training provided)
• Handle with Care (HWC) certification (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Provide medical management and assessment of patients; ensure environmental safety and crisis management.
• Direct the implementation of behavior management programs and ensure carry-through by staff.
• Assign tasks to subordinates, monitor duties, and supervise nursing staff.
• Document patient care and ensure data is updated in the master treatment plan.
