Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and licensure in state of practice is required.
• Bachelor's of science in nursing is preferred.
• 2 years RN staff nurse experience in an acute setting is required.
• 2 years in charge nurse/lead nurse or related role preferred.
• RN licensure in state of practice required; Wisconsin multi-state license may apply.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of unit/department functions including patient care, hiring, performance improvement, and staff assignments.
• Develops workflows and operational reports; administers department protocols.
• Collaborates with care team providers to ensure excellence in patient care.
