Job summary

Lexington Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts in Respiratory Therapy Services. The position involves providing respiratory therapies, initiating and maintaining ventilation, and ensuring patient safety across age groups.

Applicants must be NBRC-registered (RRT), hold NC licensure, and maintain BLS. PALS/NRP and ACLS are required within 90 days of employment. 12-hour nights, 36 hours/week, with benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• NBRC registered respiratory therapist (RRT) with NC licensure.
• BLS certification required; PALS/NRP within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days.
• Graduate of AMA approved program for respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapies following department policies.
• Initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Monitor patient status and report procedures for continuity of care.
• Perform point-of-care testing as assigned per policy.
• Maintain competence in invasive/non-invasive monitoring.
