Job summary

Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, NC is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts (36 hours/week). Requires NBRC-registered/licensed RCP in NC, BLS, and timely PALS/NRP and ACLS completion.

Responsibilities include delivering respiratory therapies, monitoring patients, and maintaining ventilation per age-appropriate standards; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care or satisfies NBRC NBRC policy for registry exams.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC and licensed to practice as an RCP in NC.
• BLS required. PALS and NRP within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment and strong team communication.
• Provides respiratory therapies per age-appropriate standards and departmental policies.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support per age-appropriate standards.
