Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to administer respiratory care under physician supervision and within scope of practice. The role includes patient education, ventilator management, and airway support in a hospital setting.

Required NBRC RRT, NC RCP license, and BLS certification with ACLS/NRP/PALS preferred. Night shift, full-time, onsite at Pardee UNC Health Care, 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must have active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) status per NBRC.
• Must hold current North Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Must hold active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory patient care under the direction of a physician.
• Educates patients within hospital and post-discharge settings on respiratory care.
• Administers aerosol medications, oxygen therapy and other components of respiratory care.
