Job summary

Advocate Health's Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta, NC seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for full-time night shifts. The role supports respiratory therapies, ventilation, and monitoring across hospital departments.

Requires NBRC-registered RRT and NC licensure, BLS, with PALS/NRP and ACLS within 90 days of employment. Three 12-hour night shifts weekly, 36 hours total, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapies following age-appropriate standards of care and departmental policies.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Reports routine clinical procedures to relief personnel to ensure continuity of care.
• Performs and maintains competency for point-of-care testing, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provides invasive and non-invasive monitoring to ensure patient safety and appropriateness of care.
