Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care.
• RRT licensed to practice as an RCP in North Carolina.
• BLS required; PALS and NRP within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment.

Aufgaben

• Provides respiratory therapies following age-appropriate standards of care.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Reports routine clinical procedures to relief personnel to ensure continuity of care.
• Performs and maintains competency for point-of-care testing per hospital policy.
• Provides invasive and non-invasive monitoring to ensure patient safety.
• Maintains professional knowledge and supports quality improvement.
• Ensures age-appropriate care per Age-Specific guidelines.
